Die Master Suite verfügt über ein Kingsize-Bett, einen privaten Zugang zu Deck und Whirlpool sowie ein komplettes Badezimmer. Mit brandneuen Gartenmöbeln können Sie sich in kürzester Zeit entspannen. HINWEIS: Die letzte Meile bis zur Hütte verläuft auf einer Schotterstraße, die manchmal einspurig und manchmal steil ist. Wir bieten einen Jeep für Gäste, die ein Fahrzeug mit höherer Bodenfreiheit benötigen, um die Bergstraße zu besteigen! (Keine Gebühr, aber Reservierung für den Jeep erforderlich)

Totally Awesome
The drive up the mountain to the property was fun and exciting—book this house and you'll see what I mean :) There’s ample parking too. The house was spotless, with a deck offering magnificent valley views. The sunset was beautiful, the internet was excellent, and the privacy was perfect—we didn’t want to leave! If you’re looking for a romantic spot, this is it! It's also ideal for families; the hike to the waterfall is great for kids, even if there’s no waterfall (it only flows during the rainy season), the hike itself is still fantastic! We plan on booking again in the future. P.S. Where else can you sit on a toilet and still have a fantastic mountain view? :)

Beautiful Place
This property is well taken care of and the owner was very responsive to us. The property manager was in direct contact with the owner and responded to our request immediately. The house had everything we needed. I can't say enough about the view - it was unbelievable. Only thing I can say negative is the road that leads to the house. You have to own a SUV to access the property and even that was difficult. Other than that, everything was perfect.

About our stay
Fire pit was not accessible. We could not go to the festival on Saturday because of the intermittent rain and fear we would not make it back up to our cabin on the very hard to travel Road. We also had to re-wash all of the dishes, as there was dried food on each of the plates.

Wonderful cabin for the holiday! Spectacular views and gorgeous sunsets. The waterfall walk was great and we saw wild turkeys on the trail. The road is a challenge, but what a beautiful destination!

A great property in a fantastic location. Getting up the hill was slightly tricky but that was communicated well in advance and appreciated. The cabin was awesome. The wood stove was lovely, the views were amazing, and the hot tub was a great amenity.

Great location close to so many things to do. Good cabin for any occasion, cozy but with plenty of room. Clean, comfortable and you cannot beat the deck and view. My husband and i just loved it. I wouldnt mind having a girls weekend there too! We recommend!!

Mountain Retreat
My girlfriend and I stayed for 5 days with our 2 dogs. Overall no complaints we had a wonderful stay. It was a little tricky getting up the mountain. I managed to get up once with my car but opted to use one of the complimentary 4x4 vehicles afterwards. I highly recommend doing this from the start. It was tricky with the dogs as there is no grass for them to do their business but they adapted. The view is amazing and the stars at night were unbelievable from the hot tub. We had a great time and are glad we made the trip.

The Overlook Cabin
We enjoyed the breathtaking views from the porch and the seclusion. Great cabin for couples who like to hike, especially if you have a dog. The national park is 30 minutes from the most northern entrance and second most northern entrance. Brain was a great host, gave us lots of helpful information on what to do/where to eat in the area. He is also very quick with responses if you need anything! Overall a great stay and can't wait to come back!

Wonderful views, wonderful stay.
This was our second time staying at this particular cabin and it was wonderful. Amazing views, hot tub on the deck overlooking the mountain. The deck also has some roof cover so we could enjoy sitting out and listening to the rain. Super comfy bed and great amenities like streaming tv services and a well designed kitchen. Thank you for having such a beautiful retreat cabin!!

Absolutely Gorgeous!
We used this magnificent cabin for a home base while visiting state parks in the area. The problem was the cabin is so wonderful that we didn’t want to leave! It is a perfect get away with breathtaking views. I cannot say enough good about the cabin and the wonderful owners. We will definitely be back and we will schedule nothing else but hanging out at the cabin.

Choose your own adventure
The Overlook Cabin is a perfect home base for exploring Shenandoah National Park and the Shenandoah Valley. It's a short drive to Skyline Drive, Luray or Front Royal and there are plenty of things to do. In the evening we enjoyed coming home before sunset so we could watch it from the deck and then relax in the hot tub. This cabin is clean, comfortable and well stocked with many thoughtful touches. We would gladly stay again!

great view, very clean
We loved our stay! The place was super clean, views were awesome and the location between Front Royal and Luray was perfect! We will def rent this place again or another property by this owner. The road up wasn't the worst we've been on but a 4wd is def your best bet. Neighbors were close, but obscured by the leaves on the trees. We could hear them a little, but not see them. Not sure what you get when the leaves fall off. Who ever is cleaning this property is a keeper & deserves a raise!! I don't see this level of cleanliness in a rental very often!!

not all that secluded
while the property was clean I didn't realize they allowed pets so after a few days of dampness you could smell it in the rugs and furniture unfortunately for us we were there when Ian was around so no Mountain View no internet you could hear and see people and actually the people next to us walked their dog and it pooped right on the passenger side door of our truck so in my opinion if you're trying to get away to seclusion this may not be the place outdoor furniture and bed were not that comfortable either and the hot tub did have white foam like someone else reviewed

This cabin was amazing! Views were better than the pictures could even depict! The place was super clean, had every amenity, and Brian (host) was very responsive to any question. We had a great time exploring Luray and Skyline Drive. Would absolutely recommend and stay again!
