„This is where you want to stay on orcas Island. Centrally located and secluded. Easy to get to and the accommodations in the cottage are spectacular. Everything you need in the kitchen to make a nice meal. The garden provided us with an onion and celery. A really nice treat.“

„Perfect for a short weekend with family “

„We had a sibling reunion and the cabin worked beautifully for four couples. Kitchen was cozy but the bedrooms (especially upstairs) were spacious and comfortable. We’d stay here again!“

Only negative was we were given wrong key lockbox code and took 30mins of holding on telephone before we got a live person at 11pm who was able to get property manager. Rest of stay was excellent.“

„Hello, This is our second stay at Captain's Cottage. This one was even better. The property manager is great, the unit was spotless and there were upgrades since our last stay. Very comfy bed, nicely stocked kitchen - even with food film, foil, spices, sweetners and other goodies. They even had an oyster knife so I could shuck my own yummy fresh oysters from up the road a bit. If you like a quite, water view getaway, this is the place. It is for two adults only, but if thats you, enjoy!“

„This place is great! No frills, but at this fantastic rate you shouldn’t expect any. Don’t get me wrong—has what you need in the way of kitchen/cooking/dining supplies, sleeping/bathing amenities, etc. And it’s very cozy and comfortable and convenient. Has everything you need if you’re working on the road or need a “home base” from which to explore. Extremely close to downtown area, and near enough to area attractions like island hopping or whale watching, or Cascades hiking/skiing or even ...

The code to the door didn’t work, and after trying it numerous times, we texted Vacasa and they responded with a different code for the lock box which got us in with a key. The light above the stove, under the microwave was burned out, so cooking was dimly lit. I’m sure they will replace the bulb tho. The coffee ...

"Das Hotel hat eine super Roof-Top Bar. Der Ort Anacortes bietet viele Möglichkeiten zum Essengehen und Frühstücken. Das Hotelpersonal an der Rezeption war super unfreundlich. Wir hatten in der Tat in den USA noch keinen unfreundlichen Mitarbeiter an einer Hotelrezepion erlebt. Da muss das Management etwas machen - wir gehen deswegen auf jeden Fall nicht mehr in das Majestic Inn. Das Hotel ist außerdem ein „PET friendly Hotel“ was super unangenehm war. Die diversen Hunde in den umliegenden Zimmern hatten unentwegt gebellt. Von Entspannung keine Rede."
