The Space:
Spend a week exploring the shores of Cape Cod from our newly renovated South Chatham Summer House that comfortably sleeps 8! Primely located within a 9-minute walk to Taylor’s Pond (Launch a kayak at the end of Mill Creek Road and explore the Estuary that leads out to the Nantucket Sound) or a 15-minute walk to Forest Beach (swim in the ocean, sink your toes in the sand, and soak up the Summer sun!) You’ll also be a drive away from a plethora of other beaches and ponds to include Red River Beach, Cockle Cove Beach, and Buck’s Creek Marshes. Return home after a day by the water and enjoy the brand new hardscape and landscape surrounding our home. Rinse off in the outdoor shower, enjoy Happy Hour on the patio, or play a game of bocce on the lawn with the Fam. Escape the heat and head indoors to relax in the luxurious Central Air that spreads through the entire home. Stop by the kitchen (recently updated with brand new stainless steel appliances) to freshen up your Cape Codder and shuck a few oysters to enjoy at the dining table in the adjoining room. The dining room is adorned with a nautical chandelier and a majestic mural of Cape Cod’s southern shore. After your hors d'oeuvres, disperse your separate ways as the kid's lounge in the comfy blue room to stream whatever’s trending on Netflix, and the adults retreat to the second but more formal living room to unwind in the ambiance of the decorative fireplace. Ready for dinner? Grill up some fresh Shrimp on the Barby (check out Mac’s Chatham Fish and Lobster for the freshest seafood) and corn on the cob to enjoy in the outdoor dining area. Once the sun has set and you start to feel the breeze coming off the ocean, start up the fire pit and roast some s’mores to eat for dessert!

At the end of the night, dissipate your separate ways into one of the four bedrooms. From the formal living room, travel up the stairs and take a left into the Master bedroom-- snuggle into the Queen bed, and note the spacious closet, large dresser, and workspace (perfect for any WFH days!) Travel across the hall to the kid’s suite-- complete with a twin bed and trundle, and a separate area for watching TV, playing foosball, or just hanging out. Between these two rooms sits the first of two full bathrooms-- both with a modern tile combo Tub/Shower. Return back down the stairs to find the final two bedrooms. The third bedroom is decorated with the charm of Old Cape Cod and features a Queen bed and closet. Right next door is the final bedroom painted in a bright Sunkissed Yellow and contains two twin beds, a dresser, and a closet. A few steps down the hall is the second full bathroom.

Other amenities include Washer/Dryer, WiFi, Smart TVs, gas grill, dog friendly, and sheets and bath towels provided for each guest. Additional eateries we highly recommend you check out are Hangar B (for a binge-worthy brunch as you watch the Bi-planes fly overhead), The Talkative Pig (for hand-crafted Mediterranean delights), and Kream N’ Kone (for the freshest fried or broiled seafood plates). Lastly, if you’re looking for more things to do around town, bring or rent bikes to take on the Old Colony Rail Trail (travel for miles in either direction), or check out Cap’n Fishing Excursions for a 2-hour boat ride designed for kids (fishing gear and bait provided)!
