„We attended an event in Bar Harbor and were looking for some place we could gather with friends in between when we were needed. This was perfect! We had all our own home cooked meals with plenty of things to keep all 10 of us entertained. Communication was above par.“

„This is a lovely property. It was well stocked. The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the fireplace and sitting out on the deck looking at the pond. We choose this place because it was very close to the entrance to Acadia National Park. Beautiful views and quiet!“

„We stayed at Otter Creek with family friends over our kids’ spring break and had a great time. The house was beautiful with a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable living spaces, including a game room that helped keep all 5 kids in our party entertained for hours. Located minutes away from gorgeous Acadia trails and Bar Harbor, it was easy to go anywhere we wanted. AND we saw an otter trot by from the nearby creek—a definite highlight! Would definitely recommend. “

„ We absolutely loved our time at Escape lake house in Maine! The setting was gorgeous and cannot be beat. The view is never the same and we loved watching the changing light on the water. The house is as described in the listing and the primary bedroom and bathroom are great. Note that one of the “bathrooms” is actually in a side entry room with the washer/dryer and extra stove, and is not super private. Also, 2 of the showers are very small stand-up showers. Plenty of room, beautiful sunrises and sunsets. if you are looking for accommodations for a large family, privacy, and beautiful scenery this is your place. our host Eric and his wife have created a beautiful home away from home. My family and I left there with plans to return. We will definitely be booking this home in the future.“

„We stayed 4 nights at this awesome home with convenient access to Acadia and Bar Harbor. Plenty of room and very quiet location. The kitchen was very well appointed with modern cookware and plenty of dishes, etc. The bedrooms were quiet and very comfortable. Bonus; we has an awesome viewing of the Northern Lights! The property manager was very responsive to questions as well. I would definitely stay here again next time we’re in the area!“

„Enjoyed our stay, used the fire pit and back deck a good bit. A lil drive to everything which we knew before arriving. There was a little road noise during the day but zero issue at night. Had fun with the chickens that came to visit :)“

„One of my favorite places to stay in Ellsworth! Nice suites with big open floorplans. They also have super fast fiber internet with private modems in each room which is a game changer for computer and office work. Great coffee selection, and really nice common area. Highly recommended “

"Brandnew Hotel in Bar Harbor with all most modern amenities and thoroughly styled. We were staying for 3 nights with 2 standard king rooms booked on ground floor and got an upgrade to 3rd floor for a huge corner room for the parents and an adjacent big room for our kids. The breakfasts were awesome, not the usual hustle and bustle of a buffet, but a choice of either hearty or sweet breakfasts were served on porcelain at our table with cutlery and cloth serviettes, along with a choice of orange juice and coffees or teas and fruits. Also the afternoon tea and cookie hour was a very nice asset. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay between the year end's holidays."

"Die Zimmer sind veraltet und extrem ringhörig. Das Bett war extrem umbequem. Es gibt in der nähe kein Frühstücksangebot. Das Restaurant vom Hotel hat zwar ab 8 Uhr geöffnet es wird aber auch beim Frühstück die gleiche Karte wie beim Abendessen angeboten. Das Abendessen war gut jedoch schliesst das Restaurant bereits um 20 Uhr."

Location and service are ok, price too high

"Good central location, service is alright, rooms are clean and everything works. Furniture and interior are rather dated and only medium quality. Air condition works, but is very loud. Daily rate is significantly too high for the service and room you get. "
