„We only had 3 days to visit the area. Our stay was very comfortable and convenient to Bar Harbor. We could walk the mile to town. Which was easier than trying to park dow there! Close to the entry to Acadia. Also appreciated the breakfast delivered to the room each morning. Everyone we ran across was very friendly.“

„This is a beautiful house with comfortable bedrooms and a nice open living and dining area for meals and hanging out. It is equipped with everything you need. We visited in winter so did not use the amazing upstairs deck but did get to enjoy the cozy wood stove, which was perfect after our rather rainy hike.We were a group of 8 hiking the Cadillac trail to see the first light of 2025. This location could not have been more convenient with the trail just a 3-minute walk away.“

„The house is gorgeous! Lots of room! Great views! We used the spotting scope continuously!! It is a little isolated so you have to drive a lot for groceries, firewood, restaurants. We loved the beach and the fire pit!! “

„Die Wohnung ist schön und praktisch eingerichtet. Kein Luxus aber trotzdem gemütlich. Für uns war die Wohnung die Unterkunft für den Acadia NP. Vor Ort haben wir festgestellt, dass es unzählige andere Möglichkeiten zum Übernachten gibt, die nicht in den Buchungsportalen in Europa erhältlich sind und wahrscheinlich direkt gebucht werden. Als wir die Wohnung buchten war das Angebot an Ferienwohnungen bei Fewo, airbnb oder booking recht übersichtlich. “

„I would give this property 100 stars if I could! Best VRBO I have ever stayed. It is immaculate, private, well appointed with floor to ceiling windows looking over the tidal basin. The tidal water changes are a show in themselves and the wildlife adds to its splendor. The gas fireplace warmed the rooms when the air cooled in the evening. Full kitchen to eat-in and use. „The room was absolutely adorable. Freshly remodeled with excellent design choices. Functional kitchen. Super cute little cottage. Perfect weekend getaway for me and my dog. Only thing was it was a bit cold, but it was very cold snowy and windy outside, so its understandable. Could only get heat to get room up to 60 degrees F (i set thermostat to 90, but 60 was all it could pull off). My dog and i wore layers so we stayed warm enough. Very comfy bed.“

„Amazing value at this location. Beautiful accommodations, free parking and centrally located. Check in was a breeze and the staff (Fred) was amazing and very accommodating. I've stayed at all the others in the area and this is the hands down winner by far.“

„This was a captivating setting. If we were to stay there for a few days, it would have been delightful. As it was, we were driving back from Acadia NP. We just weren’t prudent. We were up for indoor camping and maybe even the wood stove, but elected not to stay after arriving after dark…totally our choice. Another time, it would have been PERFECT. “

"Brandnew Hotel in Bar Harbor with all most modern amenities and thoroughly styled. We were staying for 3 nights with 2 standard king rooms booked on ground floor and got an upgrade to 3rd floor for a huge corner room for the parents and an adjacent big room for our kids. The breakfasts were awesome, not the usual hustle and bustle of a buffet, but a choice of either hearty or sweet breakfasts were served on porcelain at our table with cutlery and cloth serviettes, along with a choice of orange juice and coffees or teas and fruits. Also the afternoon tea and cookie hour was a very nice asset. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay between the year end's holidays."

"Die Zimmer sind veraltet und extrem ringhörig. Das Bett war extrem umbequem. Es gibt in der nähe kein Frühstücksangebot. Das Restaurant vom Hotel hat zwar ab 8 Uhr geöffnet es wird aber auch beim Frühstück die gleiche Karte wie beim Abendessen angeboten. Das Abendessen war gut jedoch schliesst das Restaurant bereits um 20 Uhr."

Location and service are ok, price too high

"Good central location, service is alright, rooms are clean and everything works. Furniture and interior are rather dated and only medium quality. Air condition works, but is very loud. Daily rate is significantly too high for the service and room you get. "
