„The wise place is a great place to stay great walking/running trails near by Shawnigan Lake grocery and great restaurants are all in walking distance. Inside the home was well layout and stocked with the basics. Our daughter was able to join us for a couple days and slept on the pull out couch and was amazed at how comfortable it was (the best she has had) master bed was very comfortable. „This home is close to the ferry and airport. The amenities are as advertised, with bathroom, laundry and kitchenette. Could hear gentle feet above, but nothing disruptive. Our communication with the host was good, they even let us check in early. “

„Overall the unit is clean and well stocked and the location of the property was nice. Checkin/ checkout process was easy and communication from the property manager was good. Unit is small but well laid out and suitable for two or three guests. The outdoor amenities were not as advertised which was a disappointment given that this was a main reason for selecting this unit.“

„Our favorite accommodation on our Vancouver Island tour. We liked the location, out of town and near our friends. My favorite things were the outdoor grill (try the local salmon if you can find it), the host's delicious homemade bread, and the roomba-like (Shark, actually) device that did a super job picking up crumbs and little bits of nature that blew in. „I really enjoyed my stay at Cowichan Bay in Danielle's guest house. The suite was quiet, nicely decorated, cozy and comfortable. There is a private sitting area with a partial view of the marina. I enjoyed hearing the sealions on the doc in the morning. The town is lovely with an excellent coffee house and bakery steps away. And a handful of options for lunch and dinner. I'd stay here again for a weekend getaway.“

„We enjoyed our stay very much. The flat has all you need and a Sarah and John prepared a wonderful welcome package. There are lots of things to do. If you want to go to the Shawningan Lake area take the ferry Brentwood Bay - Mill Bay. Such a lovely trip.“

„We stayed for 5 days and enjoyed the place. A great, large deck overlooking the harbour at Brentwood Bay. Good walking areas, with very little traffic, around the neighbourhood. Lots of hills, so can be a challenging walk. Only street parking and a steep incline on the driveway, that is not used by VRBO guests, between the road and the room. Bed was more like a double and so a bit tight. A full size fridge, two burner cooker and microwave. “

„This was a fantastic spot in the lovely Shawnigan Village. Quiet and peaceful for when you want to take it easy; but driveablw distances to nearby attractions like Butchart Gardens. Highly recommend! “

„The property is the perfect size for a couple. The kitchen is well stocked and has modern appliances. The living area is comfortable with large windows looking out over the deck. You are close to many amenities and within easy walking distance of the bay. Parking is onsite with plenty of room. Really appreciated the large washroom with separate tub and shower. We made good use of the bbq and fire table on the deck. “
