As a Silver Hilton member I am appalled at the lack of service and staff at this facility. This Hilton serves many customers who are attending Barnes Jewish Hospital medical facilities for medical care as am I. Due to my illness I and others are not capable of unloading our car, getting our luggage etc to our room. There is no bellman, valet or anyone to help. I had to park my car in a very small space to go check in, then get my own baggage cart to unload my car, take my luggage to my to my room, take the luggage cart back downstairs, retrieve my car from the front door of the hotel, go park in on the second floor of an unsafe garage, walk through the garage down a steep incline, go back outside and in through the front door of the hotel to get back to my room. Checking out was a nightmare. Again, no help. I could not push the cart up the steep incline where my car was parked etc. No service available. Those on crutches, in wheelchairs etc were on a terrible situation. No help.
The breakfast was cold. The scrambled eggs were dried out. There were no tea bags available. I am 82 years and have to travel by myself. I have to go back in a month for treatment so am going to have to find a place with services. Staying at this facility was a dreadful experience and put Hilton at the bottom of my list of places to stay.
