In general the riad is nice and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The free WiFi was ok but not great (quite common in Morocco). Our host Rachid was really kind and gave us a lot of useful hints on Tinghir and the surrounding area (especially Tondra and Gages Gorge). The other staff seemed sad and unhappy. Not as friendly as we’ve experienced at other facilities in Marrakech and Fes. Dinner was very good. Breakfast was very light... no fruits was disappointing. I would stay at this property again.“

„Way overpriced for what it is, we wouldn't call it 4 stars by any means (bathrooms etc really 1 star). Had a lot of problems with check-in even though rooms were prepaid. Tried to charge us for dinner at checkout even though we didn't eat there. They charge 10 euros per person for the jacuzzi. Didn't like seeing birds stuck in a tiny cage by the reception either. Property has potential but they need to spend some money on it and lower prices until they bring it up to an appropriate level. ...

„Die Angaben, die auch auf unserem Ausdruck der Buchung standen stimmen überhaupt nicht mit den Tatsachen vor Ort überein. Ein Business Center und eine Bar oder Pool etc hätten wir ja nicht gebraucht, aber wenigstens ein Stück Seife im Bad oder ein Lacken, was die Matratze ganz bedeckt, wäre nett gewesen. Netterweise konnten wir die 2. Nacht vor Ort ohne Problem stornieren.“

Not that impressed

"This hotel is a bit overrated in my opinion. Pool area is ok-ish, found glass on the floor, and many bird droppings around the pool (this was a bit disgusting as it was then mixing with the pool water). Standard rooms are super small. Deluxe rooms much better. Breakfast was too expensive (35€/person). There is not much parking spots and cars have to stay outside (but it feels quite safe). Hotel store remained closed during the 2 days we were there, and access to the spa is limited. Service could be better for a 5-star hotel. Food at the pool was good (albeit with European prices). Ouarzazate in general is not that great, but it is super clean for a city in Morocco."
