„It is a very convenient location. Across the street is the Grocery store with gasoline and the pizza/sandwich shop. Later, we did walk 250 yards to the brewery. Small parking area for a large p/u truck. Biggest drawback is that it is only 15 feet from the main road going through Damascus, which tends to be busy and noisy. And no front or back usable porch..“

„We enjoyed sitting on the front porch of this lazy little country town. We did not realize it had more than one unit until after we finalized the reservation but luckily only one other unit had occupants, the last night. We walked to Damascus Old Mill for dinner (yummy-table over the river) and Blue Blazes bike rental is directly across the street if you are riding the Creeper Trail. We would go back again. “

„The property was exactly as was described: beautiful location, comfortable. Communication with the owners was very fast & super helpful. The owners take great pride in their home & have gone above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. The home was very clean & well taken care of. We really appreciated the small touches that were supplied by the owners like ample paper products, trash bags, s’more fixings & even shampoo & soap in the event you forgot to bring some with you!😀“

„The home is a decent distance off the highway but the scenery you'll see while driving to it are gorgeous. On the first day, we saw 3 deer and 2 rabbits! The driveway is very steep and made of gravel, so keep that in mind when choosing what vehicle to bring. If it has been raining, your tires may slip a bit going up. Upon arrival, the views are stunning and my dog had a blast running around the open yard. There was a cat lounging on the deck (Not sure if it belongs to the home or a neighbor, ...

„We had a great time at The Cottage on creeper trail. There were 10 of us in our party 5 adults and 5 children under 7. There was plenty of space. The location was great! Would come back again. “

„The house was amazing and large enough that everyone could be apart but also together if that makes sense. The house was wonderful and the pictures are very accurate. We came to see fall foliage and it did not disappoint“

„Great place to stay with a large group! The hosts have made a beautiful home away from home that had everything we needed!!“

„Stayed a few nights at the TNT House. Check-in was easy and we were greeted by cookies which was a nice gesture! The listing is accurate and the pool is a great addition to have. There are a few trails and creeks nearby with plenty of hiking and biking around. The only issues we had were with internet and the TV being finicky, but that’s not a huge deal if you’re vacationing.“

„It was so nice when we arrived, they had several lights on the front porch, A welcome card, fresh fruit, plenty of supplies. It was so nice and peaceful. We enjoyed the hot tub. The location was easy access to town. We were celebrating our 25th anniversary and we went to Log cabin restaurant and the waiter that waited on us was wonderful. He had asked us why we were in town and we told him our anniversary and the Blue Ridge Parkway. At the end of our meal, he brought us a delicious piece of cake ...

„The seclusion can't be beat back in the woods quiet very relaxing it was cold so we didn't experience the hiking trails and pond but they looked amazing we will be staying again “

„Spent several nights at home for our anniversary. House was nestled in woods, away from it all and remote, which was just what we needed. Well maintained, clean, and quiet. Hot tub was a great touch and added to the Overall experience. We traveled to town for foods as needed. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a couples vacation. “
