Although there’s no front desk at the hotel itself — you need to collect the key from the pub across the street — this wasn’t a major issue and the process was straightforward. „Very friend staff. Lovely location. Checked into room but it soon proved to be in a noisy location with an entry door being banged shut by other guests. Needed a soft closure fitted. I was moved to another room which was lovely and seemed to have been refurbished. Bed was a bit soft but that’s personal preference. Food and service in the restaurant was excellent. “
