This apartment is situated in the popular and renowned 'Santa Maria Apart-hotel’ in San Eugenio, Costa Adeje, Tenerife.

• It is only a few minutes’ walk to the beautiful Puerto Colon Marina and La Pinta beach.
• Both beaches offer a wide range of activities and water sports. You can get boat trips to see the Whales and Dolphins, scuba dive, boat fishing and plenty more.
• Aqua Park and Siam Theme Park are just a short taxi ride or 15 minutes’ walk.
• The complex is a very popular family resort and has 24 hour reception with security.
• 3 Swimming Pools (heated, Jacuzzi and children's) with lifeguards.
• Hair Salon on the hotel complex
• Few minutes’ walk to great bars, restaurants and supermarkets.

** Please also note that there is currently a restriction of hotel facilities at Santa Maria. Guests staying in privately owned apartments are not allowed to use all hotel facilities except the swimming pools and the loungers. However, they are free to consume their own food and drinks in the pool area. If they have children with them, they can join the kids club and all activities around the pool as normal. There is also an Irish bar on the lower ground which opens to the public in the evening. They provide drinks and light entertainment.

Basic accommodation in GREAT location
Stayed here for Feb half-term as family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children 1 + 12). The apartment whilst looking a bit dated and tired was clean and perfect for what we needed (basically just somewhere to sleep). For the price it's exceptional. There are prettier, more highly finished apartments in the area (even on the complex) but they come at a higher price. We didn't expect the Ritz and we didn't get that but what we did get was excellent communication with the owner Katherine, a clean well equiped apartnent, beautiful views of an evening from the balcony and a outstanding location within 5 minute walk to 50-100 bars and restaurants. Couldn't have asked for more for the money. Would certainly stop here again!

I really enjoyed my first solo holiday in the Costa Adeje area which I know very well. Katherine the host was very responsive to any questions and a delight to correspond with. Apartment was exactly as described. Can use hotel loungers and pool area but cannot comment more as went to beach each day.

The property is a little dated and would greatly benefit from a modern refurb (including an upgrade to the bed mattress). Unfortunately there is no wi-fi available in the property (we were made aware of this) which is a little disappointing considering the reasonable cost involved to achieve this (we have friends who own property in this complex so we know how much it costs for a good hi speed connection). After saying that, the property was clean and had everything else we required. Good location and reasonably priced.

Great location and excellent stay
Fantastic location, really nice apartment and great communication with owners. Property was very clean, access via a key pad so no chance of losing keys. 1st floor apartment. 2 bedeooms with pool veiw. Nice bacony and everything you need for a nice stay. Following this stay we would use this apartment and others they have for rental. Thank you for your use of your apartment and we shall be in touch for any future stays.

Ok but very dated
The property is very tired and in need of updating, it doesn't feel as clean as it should because of that. The apt was basic and reasonably comfortable but for the money I'm sure we could have found something more modern. The location is good. As soon as the complex staff realised we were staying at a private rented apartment were rude, unhelpful and to be perfectly honest quite nasty. The host responds quickly to queries.

Nice albeit ‘tired’ apartment
Good points: fantastic location both the Santa Maria complex and the apartment itself are well situated. Great pool view and only 1 set of steps. Sun in the evening on veranda. Keyless room which when you get used to it is fab. Great shower. Bottle of wine, milk and water in fridge which is a nice touch. Supermarket minutes away and beach a five min walk. Katherine was lovely to deal with. Not so good points: I say not so good rather than bad because it’s not the end of the world. The apartment is in need of an update and appears quite shabby. A lick of paint would do wonders especially in the main bedroom. The headboards could also do with an overhaul as could the curtains and seating. It’s a spacious apartment and spending a few hundred pounds on updating would turn it into what I’m sure it once was. You can’t use the bar or WiFi if your renting privately. Not a big deal as long as you know in advance and there’s no issue bringing your own drinks down to pool area. Would I return: to the Santa Maria apartments YES we have already booked for September. We as a mother n daughter have chosen to stay in the apartments itself rather than rent privately again. The cost is the same in fact a little less and we will be half board and have WiFi inc but this is because we are only 2 if we were a family of 4/5 then it would def be cheaper to stay at katherines apartment.

Enjoyable stay
We thoroughly enjoyed our weeks holidays staying in this apartment overlooking the pool. The apartment is clean and very comfortable, however we felt it could possibly do with a little updating. I liked the coded entry system as it negates the need for keys. Beds were very comfy and the complimentary wine in the fridge was a nice welcome also. Great location as it's only a 5 minute walk to Playa La Pinta beach and with close proximity to some great restaurants and bars. I would have no hesitation in using Home Away again for a future holiday.

Brilliant Holiday!!
This is now the second time we have stayed at the apartment and can say that it is very clean, spacious, comfortable with everything you need, and in great location overlooking the pool in the complex. Katherine is always very helpful and answers any queries straight away. We will definitely be booking this apartment again next year!!
