Verbesserungswürdig: Zustand der Unterkunft und Komfort des Zimmers
Strange place, but has also benefits...
We had no problems staying there three nights, but you surely have to get used to some strangeness and I would not have liked to stay there by myself for sure!
The location of the B&B is great, especially if you want to visit the Biennale and want to avoid the touristy part of town. Unusual is, that an old man is taking care of the apartment, who also lives there. You don´t notice him much, but it feels like you are living in someone´s apartment. The benefit of it is that unlike renting a room in a hotel, you also as a guest have access to the kitchen, where you can cook. You even have space in the fridge to store things. There are notes everywhere that inform you about what you are allowed and not allowed to do in this place and what Michele (the host) is taking care of, (for example all your dishes!) it´s quite strange, but also hilarious at times... Our bathroom, which was right next to our bedroom was only used by us and was cleaned every day, so was the bedroom. No complaints about that, the place was clean.
Breakfast was served in the morning. It is indeed quite diappointing. We basically ended up making our own food in the kitchen. I think it should not state in the advertisement that "breakfast" is served...The other unfortunate thing other guests have already pointed out here is that you can´t lock your bedroom. I think this needs to change! All in all if you can deal with some strangeness, its an ok place and back then was the cheapest we could find.
