Lambert's Cove Bog House

Ursprünglich im Jahr 1890 als Wohnhaus für die Cranberry-Moor-Towers des Landes erbaut, wurde dieses malerische Häuschen 1980 zu einem ganzjährigen Haus ausgebaut. Es befindet sich auf einem 3/4 Hektar eines abgelegenen Waldgebiets und hat einen eigenen Weg zum privaten Abschnitt von Lambert's Cove Beach - ein 4-minütiger Spaziergang bringt Sie zum Kamm mit Blick auf den Sand und den Vineyard Sound dahinter. Das Haus selbst ist charmant und hell, mit rustikalen Details und individuellen Details. Voll ausgestattete Küche, ein gemütliches Wohnzimmer mit Tagesbett, Holzofen, eine halbumwickelte Terrasse mit Holzkohlegrill und Außendusche; Alles, was Sie hören, sind die Geräusche der Natur und Wellen, die in der Ferne an Land stürzen. Im Obergeschoss finden Sie zwei Schlafzimmer, eines mit einem großen Bett und eines mit zwei Einzelbetten, viel Stauraum und eine gut ausgestattete 3/4 Badewanne. Wir freuen uns, Sie zu Hause zu begrüßen!

Great stay!
We really enjoyed our time at the cottage! This is a spectacular location with the very short walk down a wooded path to the beach at Lambert's Cove. It was a nice location for food and shopping at Vineyard Haven and visiting our friends in Chilmark. I recommend you arrive during daylight hours as we did - I think it might be tough to find the place for the first time at night. Also, the size of the cottage is perfect for a couple but would work well with one or two small children in the smaller bedroom. Recommended!

Great beach access, but no reading inside
Easy access to a great beach is biggest attribute! We loved it, but we had good weather. But there is no comfortable place to sit inside and only central lights hanging from ceiling; no good for reading. Details: No microwave as listed; good A/C not listed; no directions for TV, so no local news/weather available; smoke detectors removed; no departure instructions for laundry or trash. Seems like the listing has been coasting on beach access, w/o attention to some details. But we had a great time at the beach!

Cozy cottage with amazing beach access
We really enjoyed our stay at this cozy cottage in the woods. The kitchen is fully equipped except for a microwave and the gas grill works perfectly. The bed was soft, but comfortable. The best part was that you're nestled in nature with private access to Lambert's Cove Beach. We couldn't have asked for a better getaway!

Our family loves this compact cottage by the sea. This is our second summer and we have already booked for next year. The Bog House comes with everything you need for a great stay Our family of four was comfortable and we loved being able to walk (3 minutes) to the best beach on the Vineyard - Lambert's Cove. The owners are responsive to questions, the cottage clean, and again, the easy access to the beach is the best. We can't wait to stay again.

Lovely lil' cottage in Lamberts Cove
My husband, 12 y/o and I had a wonderful Vineyard vacation at Angela & Russell's cottage. It's cozy but well-equipped and an efficient use of space. Best of all is its location: walk in to Lambert's Cove, one of the prettiest beaches on the island. And centrally located for both up and down island adventures. The hosts were lovely. We'd love to return. Thank you Angela & Russell for a memorable stay!
