„My stay was shorter than I had planned but the few days I was here was so relaxing. First of all, the bed is so comfortable, I slept like a baby. Very quiet area. Nice to walk around with my dogs and explore. The cottage was nicely outfitted with any needs you might have. Beautiful time of year to stay here! I cannot wait to go back. „We had a lovely long weekend in the Berkshires. The location is beautiful, and we really enjoyed the deck, hot tub, and kayaks. We could have used more towels but otherwise the house was pretty well equipped. Bedrooms were cozy, which didn’t really matter because we were outside most of the time, but could be tough in worse weather. “

„We enjoyed our 2 week stay at this cute rustic cabin. The owner and caretakers were super responsive to our needs during our stay. The only thing that was missing was onsite laundry, but the laundromat was nearby so not a huge inconvenience. Overall, great place to relax in the woods.“

„The house was comfortable for the rated numbers. The kitchen was easy to cook in and well equipped. The house shows its age with a few fixable issues (slow drain in upstairs bathroom sink, one twin bed dropped its slats, which could cause injury, loose screen on a skylight). None of the issues prevented a good time, and I communicated them to the local host. The location is pleasantly wooded and convenient to the southern Berkshires.“

„This is my second summer renting this house. It's great. Beautiful home, lots of light, in the woods, very comfortable. Our first year we had a rainy Sunday and it was fun to just hang out in. Very clean. The rental contact person was very responsive to a question we had. Five minutes from Jacob's Pillow. Lenox/Lee/Stockbridge are all just a quick drive away. Very quiet rural setting. A deer visited us this year, early on Sunday morning. Love this place.“

„our small nonprofit staff stayed here for a retreat. It was lovely! Very remote and had space for us to break out and chat, or also be together. Had some issues with sizing of sheets for the sofa beds, but they were super communicative and helped us work it out right away. “

„Three of us had a great stay! The cottage was very clean and very well outfitted. It was clear that the hosts put a lot of thought into making sure guests would have everything they need. The space is bright and modern but still cozy, very nicely designed. The lake was a bit more of a walk than I had imagined it would be and there isn’t much of a sitting area by the lakefront but the lake itself is beautiful. Overall, a very nice cottage and lovely stay!“

„Nice and clean house. Needs a little touch up, you can see stains on the ceiling where roof was leaking. Deck’s rails were rough and it was easy to get splintered. The rest was perfect: clean sheets, towels, plenty of dishes We liked it very much“

„My friends and I stayed here, and we very much enjoyed a quiet place to stay at the end of the day. We were racing nearby at the Dragway for a few days, the location was great. The deer that visited in the yard was a nice touch. It's also a nice place to take in the sunrise from the deck with a coffee or two. We would definitely stay here again.“

„We booked a couple nights to attend a show at Tanglewood and Chris and Ellen's Heartwood cabin did not disappoint. Great proximity to countless things of interest (amazing digital guidebook provided by hosts) we were only able to scratch the surface. So grateful dogs are able to enjoy the cabin and the gorgeous grounds. We will try to return down the road for sure!“

Close to so many of western MA's greatest attractions, we had a great time visiting Tanglewood and museums, and touring local towns and restaurants. „We pulled in to a lighted log cabin that was lit by lights around the porch. You feel as if you are alone in the middle of the woods. It seemed all the restaurants were 20 minutes away. No shortage of good restaurants. We went to Tanglewood twice and what a treat. We saw Kool and the Gang and John Baptiste. Great performers playing in the Berkshires.“

„Our two weeks on the lake were filled with swimming, kayaking, hammock napping and eating. My daughter and I hosted guests and day trippers, almost filling the bunkhouse! The house itself is pristine, tastefully appointed and well stocked, from towels to firewood. A welcome basket from a local bakery awaited us. Our dogs were happy, too! The lake is perfect - the only sounds you can hear are happy kayakers and rowers talking to each other, and the mallard ducks quacking. A very serene and lovely ...
