The beach and lake are not private, they are part of the campground. Larger groups than can sleep n the house can rent an RV, bring an RV or sleep in the camp sites. Please find the RV, RV Site and campsite available for rent on Airbnb.
Depending on how far ahead you book, over 100 could sleep in the campgrounds.
The house has 2 King bedrooms, in addition their is a full size futon bed, a toddler bed inside of a closet and several Air mattresses available for guest use.
For guests who stay overnight we charge an extra $20 fee, that is factored into the price when booking. If additional guests are just spending the day, then they pay a gate fee to the campground owners at arrival. The gate fee is $5 normally, though may be more expensive during special event.
I've noticed some guests are very pleased with the rental, while others feel it is overpriced for the quality of the house. If during the summer, you are renting the house to sleep at and then going elsewhere during the day, this place is expensive comapred to similar sized and quality properties in Terre Haute. Maybe not the best choice. If instead you are planning to use the beach, the kayaks or play on the floating obstacle course on the lake, then I believe the property is of excellent value. Certainly the only one of its kind in the area.
Kayak are available for use.
Bait can be purchased at The bait store onsite at the campground.
Firewood is available for purchase from campground owners.
Bikes are available for rent from from campground owners.
