Thanksgiving Family Getaway
This was a very clean property that delivered everything that was promised. It was a very peaceful, relaxing location and the accommodations were well-appointed and comfortable. We enjoyed fishing off the pier…caught and released quite a few bass. We liked it so much that we’re thinking about coming back this summer.

Wonderful waterfront house!
We had a great stay at this house. We’ve been coming to Ivanhoe since we were kids, so we were very excited to return and stay ON the lake! Great house, deck and pier! Kayaks and plenty of floats for some relaxing fun in the water.

Amazing getaway
Just what the family needed. Beautiful house that is full stocked with everything you would need. Beds are super comfy and cold A/C and hot water. The best part is sitting out on the deck and enjoying the lake view. I’m any activities for the kids to do as well. Will definitely be back.

Taylors Ivanhoe 2023 Visit
This was our second stay with Will at Virgil's place. There is something so peaceful and serene about this place, we all did not want to leave. I thank Will for sharing this place with us all. I had a chance to recharge my batteries some just enjoying the views, Kayaking, swimming/floating, perch fishing, family games and exploring the area on our golf cart. The place has everything you need to chill, relax, be comfortable and entertained if that's what you need.. We want to come back in the fall or winter if time permits and also definitely next summer. Amazing Lake Cabin
We are so happy we found this stunning property to stay at with family over Spring Break! This Lake Cabin has all the comforts of home and an amazing deck that overlooks the beautiful lake! This was a favorite hangout spot for the family and our dogs. Hubby and the boys loved getting up in the morning and going to the dock in the backyard for fishing. Lots of rest and relaxation enjoying the outdoors of the cabin and strolling around the neighborhood. The inside of the house is very cute and had everything we needed for our stay. The home was immaculate when we arrived and had a kitchen stocked up very nicely with cookware, great space for cooking and a BBQ area on the deck. We also had the opportunity to meet the owners and they were the nicest people!

Great getaway! Well equipped with everything we needed from pots and pans to towels to kayaks!
Our group of 2 families (4 adult parents, one 20 something and 3 late teens) had an incredible long weekend at Virgil’s Place. Great communication, easy check in and super easy checkout. The house is very comfortable, with plenty of room for our two families to come together or find quiet space. The deck is fantastic, with comfy furniture, tiki torches and a grill. We spent a lot of our time sitting there watching the lake when we weren’t in the water or fishing. We look forward to a return visit! Thanks so much for hosting us!
