„Das Haus hat in der Vergangenheit gute Bewertungen erhalten, was durchaus zutreffend gewesen sein mag. Die Lage ist toll, die Ausstattung grundsätzlich ebenfalls, es ist alles vorhanden was versprochen wird. Allerdings läßt der Pflegezustand und die Sauberkeit arg zu Wünschen übrig; teilweise sind auch die Mitarbeiter nicht so motiviert ihrer Arbeit nachzugehen wie man es erwartet. Im Zimmer war es NICHT sauber, die offensichtlichen Spinnweben schon verstaubt, diverse größere Staubansammlungen ...

„A dog loving hotel. We booked a sea view room which was fantastic, we stayed an extra night. The double bed was unfortunately two singles pushed together and the used dirty towels not refreshed the second day, just picked up and rehung. All the other facilities were great, dinner and take out are serviced from the hotel next door. I would recommend a visit to the retro gaming room in the other hotel next to the pool. „We had a fabulous 3 night mid-week stay. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were attentive and really friendly and the food in the restaurant was exquisite. We had intended to find other places to eat during our stay but the food was so good here there was absolutely no point. I would highly recommend this hotel.“

„Good staff close to trains and bus route. Decor is a little tired but as a place to rest and refresh it is fine . Would happily go back again. Close to a good Chinese restaurant as well .“

„I was there early october and the island was shut down for the winter. This created a deserted melancholic atmosphere that I enjoyed very much. Staff was very helpful with my flight back. It was my first time at the Isle of Wight and it really is a place of outstanding natural beauty. I very much enjoyed my 6 nights there.“

„As a high end hotel you should experience top rate hotel. Being the start of the season you would expect the hotel to be in prime condition as it’s not cheap. The staff are lovely ask and they will do their best to help. But our room smelt of smoke (put air con on 15 minutes later clear, the room/suite could do with upgrading.
