„Bei Ankunft, obwohl kaum Gäste im Haus und wir (2 Individualreisende, keine Low-Budget-Touristen), sehr "wortkarger", schleppender Emfang: Rezeption nicht besetzt, erst nach mehrmaligem Sich-Bemerkbar-Machen kam jemand aus der Küche. Zimmer definitiv für die Gegend erstklassig, aber völlig überteuert. Das Abendessen sollte dann 30 Dollar kosten, in benachbarten Lodges (auch wenn dort der Standard natürlich insgesamt niedriger ist) gibt es ordentliches Essen für 8 Dollar, in einfacheren Lodges ...

„Elegant hotel with caring, professional staff. Clean rooms, electric blankets, classy lines and decor. Yeti Mountain Home is THE standard for the region. Be mindful of Yeti Mountain Home LUKLA, on my recent stay, the manager was thugish and deceptive...the lady assistant did her best to mitigate the damage that this brutish trickster is doing to the face of this classy hotel line.
