„Quiet, clean and they had the room warm for us. You can tell the new owners have done a lot of work, new flooring, fresh paint everywhere, new sink, bathroom fresh, everything clean. If you are looking for 5 star accommodations this isn't the Ritz but it's clean, priced right and easy Hiway access. They still have a ways to go so I encourage the owners to keep up on the improvements. Breakfast is old fashioned continental, don't expect a hot breakfast but the coffee is good. „It’s a standard motel in a small town about 25-30 miles away from Route 66. We were looking to see a bit more of countryside instead of driving the interstate and we found it. The town is made up of about ten streets and has maybe a population of 4000. I guess the nearby prison provides the town with jobs. The room and furniture were older. It was ok for a nights stay.“

„Our Stay at the Loft of The Pines was Amazing. So much so we wish the property was for sale. It was everything and more what you see in the description. „The cabin is quaint and peaceful. The veiws are beautiful. Well stocked and very sufficient for our needs. Did a bit of fishing on the pond and caught some nice bass on the fly rod. We visited the area to drive the backroads and enjoy the fall colors.“
