„Zimmer gut ausgestattet. Personal super freundlich. Zimmer war direkt neben der Straße daher sehr laut. Ist aber das einzige Zimmer direkt an der Straße. Bis zum Zentrum ca. 10-15 Minuten zum laufen. Dame an der Rezeption super freundlich und hilfsbereit.“

„Das Haus ist wunderschön auf einem Hügel, ganz in der Nähe des Strandes gelegen. Unser Zimmer war sehr geräumig, mit einem gemütlichen Bett und einer voll ausgestatteten Küche. Ein wundervoller Ort zum entspannen und die Seele baumeln lassen.“

„The house was tidy and comfortable and had everything we needed. Probably the only minor negative was that there is a tenant in the bottom story which we were not aware of until after we booked, so we had to remind the kids to be quiet, which kind of took away from being able to relax a little. Other than that, everything was fine“

„Fantastic concept but lacks quality cooking items, a fridge way below capacity for the amount of guests that can be accommodated, no Wifi and lacks not having an 80 inch tv in the dining area to cater for sporting groups or large family gatherings etc. A beautiful place with an amazing view of the lake.“

„Enjoyed our stay at Thornton. You need a car to get out and about as nothing is in walking distance but it is an easy drive to lots of places in the Eastern Bay of Plenty. Hosts were friendly and checked in with us that all was going OK. Steep steps between upstairs and downstairs so not appropriate for the mobility impaired, elderly or very young children. “
