„ Exceeded all expectations !“

„The cottage was clean and well appointed. The beds were comfortable, We really enjoyed and made good use of the fire pit. It was all set up and ready to light. Southwest Harbor is my favorite place to stay on the island. It is much less touristy than Bar Harbor but still has some good dining options as well as a nice coffee shop. We had a great stay.“

„The cabin is close to Acadia National Park in Manset. It is very cozy inside and out. The bedroom, in particular, is nice and cozy and a great retreat after a long day of hiking. The kitchen is also very well equipped, and we were able to cook great meals. There are little signs everywhere explaining how everything works. That was very helpful. „What a wonderful stay! The cabins are new, well thought out, and equipped with everything you need including laundry detergent and dryer sheets. Sitting out on the screened porch in the comfy cushioned chairs was a favorite after our day’s activities. Very quiet and serene away from all the touristy stuff. Highly recommend staying here!“

„We were fortunate to be able to stay at The Nub again this year, and it remains our favorite place to stay. Spending days hiking the mountains of Acadia and returning to The Nub at night is incredibly restorative. Angela is a great host, receptive to all of our needs, even those we didn't know we had! We didn’t plan or pack for any rain but when it poured for a solid day, we were thankful for the cabin’s shelter and wifi and umbrella when we went out. „This was a great place to stay for our little family while visiting the Bar Harbor/ Acadia area. The cabin was comfy and more than enough room for a family of 3. Everything was stocked well, very clean and well thought through with renters in mind. Both Bar Harbor and Acadia were about 10 minutes away and easy to get in and out of. The hike from the cabin was a perfect way to go see the sunset. Would absolutely stay again if we are in the area! “

"Brandnew Hotel in Bar Harbor with all most modern amenities and thoroughly styled. We were staying for 3 nights with 2 standard king rooms booked on ground floor and got an upgrade to 3rd floor for a huge corner room for the parents and an adjacent big room for our kids. The breakfasts were awesome, not the usual hustle and bustle of a buffet, but a choice of either hearty or sweet breakfasts were served on porcelain at our table with cutlery and cloth serviettes, along with a choice of orange juice and coffees or teas and fruits. Also the afternoon tea and cookie hour was a very nice asset. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay between the year end's holidays."

"Die Zimmer sind veraltet und extrem ringhörig. Das Bett war extrem umbequem. Es gibt in der nähe kein Frühstücksangebot. Das Restaurant vom Hotel hat zwar ab 8 Uhr geöffnet es wird aber auch beim Frühstück die gleiche Karte wie beim Abendessen angeboten. Das Abendessen war gut jedoch schliesst das Restaurant bereits um 20 Uhr."

Location and service are ok, price too high

"Good central location, service is alright, rooms are clean and everything works. Furniture and interior are rather dated and only medium quality. Air condition works, but is very loud. Daily rate is significantly too high for the service and room you get. "
