„Fabulous staff and lovely spa / pool with designated swimming times for children. On arrival you’d be forgiven for thinking the hotel looked a bit past its best from the outside and some communal areas are tired, but the reception / bar and restaurant are lovely, and we had a superior room above the spa which is clearly the more recent and refurbished section. Minor issue with smell in room 243 but flushing the shower through and opening the windows helped and it wasn’t enough to affect our ...

„Great hotel very comfortable bed. All seems new and clean. Just 2 little things, the bathroom floor creaked so felt bad for my neighbors in the night and couldn't seem to turn the heating down in the bathroom, so it was very hot.“

„Clean & tidy pub with excellent rooms. Large room with double bed and shower room. Good dining in large restaurant and excellent breakfast. Would recommend the food. Staff attentive and fairly polite. Only criticism and its small, is dont serve tea in vacuum jugs at breakfast. Had to ask for tea in a teapot, which duly arrived hot and fresh. Thank you for a wonderful night “

„Sehr zuvorkommender Service Wir hatten aufgrund Gewitter eine Flugverspätung von 5 Stunden und kamen Nachts um 1:00 Uhr an. Vom Flughafen Manchester kurz telefoniert und Zimmerschlüssel hing an der Eingangstüre. Waren wir froh über diesen Urlaubsstart!! Sehr geräumiges und ruhiges Zimmer. Haus verstreut Charme ..fast kitschig.. Englisches Herrenhaus“

„Had a very enjoyable stay, the room was fantastic we had a suite with a huge bath tub, I am 6’ 3 so struggle to fit most tubs but this one had plenty of room for two! The trip was made even better by the lovely weather so we got full use of the hotel’s fabulous outdoor pool which was lovely so clean and warm too. All in all we had a great stay “
